Back in September last year, pictures emerged of actress Keira Knightley clad in a beige, suede catsuit aboard a vintage motorcycle. While the setting was confirmed as the Place de la Concorde in Paris, it was assumed she was filming her latest advert for French luxury label Chanel, but the finer details remained a mystery.
Fast forward sixth months, and Knightley is teasing us with a preview of the new, three minute-long commercial for Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle perfume, of which she is the spokesmodel.

"Nobody said exactly what it was going to be like" she reveals in the clip. "I knew that it was something about a motorbike, and I knew it was going to be beige, and they said: 'sort of catsuit'".
Directed by acclaimed English film director Joe Wright, who Knightley worked with on Pride and Prejudice and Atonement , the advert will hit cinema and television screens on March 21.

Chanel adverts are created with the same attention to detail as a short film; who can forget the epic scenes of Nicole Kidman, captured by Moulin Rouge director Baz Luhrmann, twinkling in a Paris skyline as the face of Chanel No5?
"It was completely unexpected," hints Knightley, "It's a Chanel superwoman I think." And with that, we are left truly dangling.
